Thank you for choosing SXFireplace! To ensure your fireplace products arrive safely and smoothly, please read the following shipping policy carefully before placing your order.

1. No Fuel Included Disclaimer (CRITICAL)

  • Bioethanol Fuel NOT Included: In accordance with international air and sea freight safety regulations, liquid bioethanol fuel is classified as a controlled hazardous material. Therefore, all our fireplaces and burner products are shipped from our factory without any alcohol fuel included.

  • How to Purchase Fuel: You will need to purchase high-purity bioethanol fuel (95% purity or higher is highly recommended) locally at your local hardware stores, home improvement centers, or local e-commerce platforms.

2. Order Processing & Handling Time

  • Processing Time: All standard orders require 10 to 20 business days for production, specialized packaging, and outbound preparation after successful payment. Custom products or large bulk orders will require additional production time.

  • Shipment Notification: Once your order is dispatched, our system will automatically send a notification email containing your Tracking Number and a tracking link to your registered email address.

3. Shipping Methods, Costs, and Transit Times

Due to the large dimensions and significant weight of our fireplace products, we utilize a split-freight cost model and standard heavy-freight shipping methods:

  • Freight Cost Split (Who Pays What):

    • Covered by the Manufacturer (Within China): SXFireplace will fully cover all inland transportation costs from our factory to the Chinese port of export (e.g., Shanghai Port, Ningbo Port, etc.), including export customs declaration fees and port handling charges.

    • Covered by the Customer (International & Last-Mile): The customer (buyer) is solely responsible for all freight costs incurred from the Chinese port of export to the final delivery destination. This includes international ocean/air freight, destination port terminal fees, local customs clearance agent fees, and last-mile trucking or delivery costs to your doorstep.

  • Shipping Methods & Estimated Transit Times:

    • Standard Ocean Freight + Truck Delivery (Economic): Estimated transit time is 30 to 45 business days. This method is used for large fireplaces. Packages are typically delivered curbside or to the entrance of your building.

    • Express Air Freight Line (Fast): Estimated transit time is 7 to 15 business days. This method applies only to lighter built-in burner cores or small tabletop fireplaces.

Note: All delivery timeframes listed above are estimates. We are not legally or financially liable for delays caused by customs inspections, severe weather conditions, or peak logistics seasons.

4. Customs, Duties & Taxes

  • Buyer’s Responsibility: Unless your order is explicitly marked as "Delivered Duty Paid (DDP)" at checkout, all international orders are subject to import duties, value-added taxes (VAT), and customs clearance fees, which must be paid entirely by the buyer (recipient).

  • Consequences of Refusing Clearance: If a package is returned or destroyed because the buyer refuses to pay local customs duties or fails to cooperate with customs clearance, all resulting logistics fees, port penalties, and product losses will be deducted directly from your order refund.

5. Transit Damage & Damaged Delivery Guidelines (Risk Control)

Bioethanol fireplaces are primary constructed of stainless steel and glass materials, which carry a inherent risk of damage during long-distance cross-border transport. Please strictly follow this inspection process:

  1. Inspect Upon Delivery: When the courier delivers the package or the truck unloads, you must inspect the outer packaging on the spot. If the outer box is severely deformed, broken, or you hear the sound of shattered glass, please take photos immediately as evidence.

  2. Refuse Delivery or File a Damage Note: If the product is severely damaged, you have the right to refuse the delivery. If you choose to accept it, you must instruct the driver or courier to explicitly write "Damaged upon arrival" or "Package Damaged" on the delivery receipt (Proof of Delivery / POD).

  3. Contact Us Within 48 Hours: Please inspect the inner product and contact us via email (liangzifeng3217@outlook.com) within 48 hours of signing for the package. You must provide photos of the shipping label, the outer box, and the damaged areas of the product. If you fail to notify us within 48 hours, the logistics carrier will reject the claim, and we will be unable to provide free replacements or parts.

6. Failed Delivery & Address Modifications

  • Address Modifications: Once an order is submitted, we cannot guarantee that the shipping address can be successfully modified. No address changes can be made after the shipment has left the factory.

  • Unclaimed Deliveries: If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address provided by the buyer, multiple failed delivery attempts, or because the courier was unable to contact the buyer, the buyer will be held responsible for all secondary shipping and handling costs.
